I just wanted to share with you all to see an amazing thing that is
happening RIGHT NOW near Kuwait!
In the midst of this turmoil, here is something positive and a praise
report. Our God is GOOD!
Baptism in the desert
Pfc. David Kurns is baptized by Task Force Chaplain Capt. Ron Cooper,
left,
and 1st Lt. Brian Case, right, in the desert north of Kuwait City,
Wednesday, March 12. Eight members of the 3rd Infantry Division were
baptized in the desert on Wednesday.
Keep on praying...
My friend, may I ask you life's most important question? All eternity depends upon your answer to this question. Are you saved? There are just two kinds of people in the world, the saved and the lost. God loves you and wants you to be saved to spend eternity with him in Heaven.
First: You need to be saved! "For all have sinned and come short of the glory of God." (Romans 3:23).
Second: You cannot save yourself! "Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to His mercy He saves us." (Titus 3:5).
Third: Jesus has provided for your salvation! "Who (Jesus) His own self bore our sins in His own body on the tree, that we, being dead (spiritually) to sins, should live unto righteousness; by whose stripes ye are healed." (I Peter 2:24). "For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son that whosoever believeth in (receives) Him should not perish but have everlasting life." (John 3:16).
Fourth: You must ask Jesus for salvation! "If any man hear My voice (Christ's) and open the door (to your heart), I will come in to him (you)..." (Revelation 3:20). "That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth (in prayer) the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised Him from the dead, thou shalt be saved." (Romans 10:9).
Fifth: Now is the time to accept Jesus as your Lord and Savior! "...behold, now is the accepted time; behold, now is the day of salvation." (II Corinthians 6:2).
What to do to be saved: Right now, call upon the Lord Jesus Christ to save you. Realize you are a sinner, and that Christ died in your place. By faith, ask God to have mercy on you and to save you for Jesus' sake.
What to pray: "Lord, be merciful to me a lost sinner and save me now. I ask you to forgive me of my sins and come into my heart. Please help me to follow and obey Jesus as Lord of my life. In Jesus' name I pray. Amen."
1. Take God at His Word, (the Bible). He says, "For whosoever (that means you) shall call upon the name of the Lord, shall be saved (not maybe, not gradually, but right now!)." (Romans 10:13). If you have prayed and meant business with God, then you are saved, right now, and will go to Heaven, according to His Word.
2. Read God's Word, the Bible. Ask God to help you understand His Word. Begin with the Gospel of John. For variety, alternate between the Old Testament and New Testament.
3. Talk to God daily in prayer. Thank Him for His goodness and mercy, for Jesus, and for eternal life.
4. Attend a Bible preaching, Bible believing church regularly to grow spiritually strong (Hebrews 10:25).
5. Publicly identify yourself with Christ. Come to church and confess Christ as your personal Savior and follow the Lord in believer's baptism after you are saved (Matthew 10:32 and Acts 2:38).
6. Tell others how to get saved! Witness to someone every day (Matthew 28:19, 20).
7. Please send us an Email to let us know of your decision for Christ. We have information to give you that will help you to become a strong Christian.
In this day of doubt and uncertainties in the religious realm; when so many churches have turned from preaching the Gospel, we set forth our beliefs.
We believe that the Bible is the supernatural, verbally inspired Word of God, which tells of a supernatural Christ, Who had a supernatural birth, Who lived a supernatural life, Who died a supernatural death, Who rose in supernatural power, Who ascended to Heaven in supernatural splendor, and Who will one day very soon return in supernatural glory.
I just wanted to share with you........ Our God is GOOD
